AlamoTech PDF ("we", "us", "our") is a privacy-focused platform for PDF work. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how we use data. Our core principle for your documents is simple: your files are your files. PDF tool processing runs in your browser (client-side). We do not store the content of documents you process through our tools.
AlamoTech PDF is a login-based service with accounts, team workspaces, and token quotas. We collect account and usage information needed to operate the service (see Section 3). We do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising profiles.
Unlike many online PDF services, AlamoTech PDF does not upload your files to our servers for routine tool processing. The tools you use are powered by JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries that run on your device. Document content stays on your machine during processing. An internet connection is required for sign-in, quota enforcement, and related service features.
Because of our client-side processing model, we do not collect or retain the following about your documents:
When you sign in or join a team workspace, we collect and store service data tied to your account and tenant. This is used to authenticate you, enforce plan and token limits, support teams, and maintain security—not for advertising or selling to third parties.
This usage data is linked to your account and workspace. It does not include the content of PDFs or other files you process in the browser.
On our public marketing pages, we use Simple Analytics to measure anonymous visit counts. We see aggregate traffic (for example how many pages were viewed), not who you are. Simple Analytics is privacy-oriented and does not use advertising tracking cookies.
Signed-in product usage for quotas is described in Section 3 and is separate from Simple Analytics.
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, session security, and service operation. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral profiling. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using authenticated features.
AlamoTech PDF is built using powerful, open-source libraries like PDF-lib.js and PDF.js. These libraries are trusted by developers worldwide and operate under the same client-side principle. While we have vetted these libraries, we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for your own peace of mind.
Document content from client-side tools is not stored on our servers as part of routine processing. Account and usage data are protected with industry-standard practices, including authenticated sessions, tenant isolation, and access controls. You are also responsible for securing your device and browser.
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
