Do I need an account to use AlamoTech PDF?

Yes. All tools require login so we can apply your token quota, secure your workspace, and support team access. An internet connection is required for authentication and quota tracking.

Is AlamoTech PDF free to use?

Yes. Every account includes a free token quota. If you need more, you can purchase additional tokens in-app.

How do token quotas work?

Each action consumes tokens based on file size and complexity. Your remaining tokens are visible in the app and are shared across your team if you are part of a workspace.

How are my files handled?

Files are processed in memory for speed. We store account, team, and usage records in Firebase collections to enforce quotas and maintain audit trails.

Do you support teams or multi-tenant workspaces?

Yes. Teams let organizations manage members, roles, and shared quotas under a single tenant.

Do you track activity or use analytics?

We use Simple Analytics for anonymous site metrics. In-app usage events are recorded to enforce quotas and support troubleshooting.

Why did my PDF fail to process?

Failures are rare but can happen for a few reasons:

  • The PDF might be corrupted or not compliant with standard specifications.
  • The file could be encrypted with a password you don't have. Please use our Decrypt tool first.
  • The file might be a special "XFA" or dynamic form-based PDF, which some of our tools cannot process.
